Myla Dalbesio (born June 26, 1987 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an American artist and glamour model. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently based in New York City.

Myla was crowned Miss Teen Wisconsin when she was 16 years old, this opened her the door to the world of modeling. During the contest she was noticed by Jeff and Mary Clarke, scouters for their own agency, Mother Model Management, and they tried to put her in the circuit of regular-size modeling, but she ended to be designated as a “plus size”.

She has however revealed that she doesn't fit properly this definition, since she fall like an 'in-betweener' in the fashion industry, with her size 10 figure too large for traditional jobs, but ironically too small for plus-size work. She also admitted that she sometimes has lied about her size, stuffing her clothes, in order to secure modeling jobs aimed at bigger women.[1][2]

In 2014, after a visible weight loss, Myla appeared as a model for the Calvin Klein underwear campaign Perfectly Fit.

In 2018, she posed topless for sports illustraded.[3][4][5]

Dalbesio identifies herself as a "multi-disciplinary visual artist" (photograpy, painting, drawing, writing, sculpture, ...)[6][7][8].

As photographer her shoots have appeared in magazines such as Playboy. An incomplete list of photoshoots:

  • She is defiant
  • You & Me

  • How To Photograph A Woman (Playboy)
  • I'll Be Your Singer
  • Some Girls
  • In My Room

Dalbesio writes a regular column "Girl on Girl" for Elle.com and short essays published on magazines like Suited, Twin Magazine and Oyster.
